This privacy policy describes how GoFishly collects, uses and protects the personal data of users of the application and website.

We collect data provided during registration (email address, username), catch data (species, weight, GPS location, photos) and technical data necessary for the app to function.
Data is processed to provide the app services, including the catch log, rankings, tournaments and social features, on the basis of the performance of the contract for using the app (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Location data (GPS) is processed on the basis of user consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and can be disabled in device settings.
Data is not sold to third parties. Some data (e.g. league results, catch photos in tournaments) may be visible to other users as part of social features.
We use the services of external infrastructure providers to store and process data: Supabase (database, authentication) and Cloudflare (hosting). These providers may process data on servers located within the European Union or outside it, with appropriate GDPR compliance mechanisms in place (including standard contractual clauses).
Data is stored for as long as you use the app, until your account is deleted. After account deletion, data is permanently removed from our systems, except for information whose retention is required by applicable law.
The app is intended for users aged 13 and above. Users under 16 should use the app with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You have the right to access, correct, restrict the processing of, transfer, and delete your data at any time via account settings or by contacting the administrator at info@gofishly.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection regulations.
We reserve the right to change this privacy policy. We will inform users of any significant changes via the app or website.
